WHY BCC?
HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE
BCC provides all analysts with a unique, hands-on experience via placement on one of our client engagements right from the start of their consulting journeys. BCC members learn how to develop rigorous analytical skills and effective communication styles to create value for our clients. For most of our members, this is one of the best introductory and pre-professional learning experiences into the world of consulting.
SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY
Our BCC family extends far beyond a pre-professional club. Many of our members join and meet their best friends within BCC, which is fostered through inclusive measures and fun club-wide socials throughout the semester.
INVALUABLE NETWORK
BCC is equipped to provide our members with amazing networking opportunities, whether it be peers, alumni, recruiters, campus organizations, or corporate firms. BCC has an extensive advisory board of 30+ Brown alumni working in a wide range of industries. BCC also partners with corporate firms to host office visits, information sessions, and networking events.
MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Each of our project teams is assigned an advisor, a BCC and Brown University alum, who acts as a professional and personal advisor for our members. Our advisors are employed at a variety of top consulting firms and bring industry-expertise to help guide our analysts in the right direction. Additionally, BCC has recently developed an internal DEI mentorship program to help minority applicants prepare for the interview process.
BECOME A GENERAL BODY MEMBER
New in 2024, the BCC General Body is a network of students at Brown who are interested in pursuing a career in consulting whether that be Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, Healthcare Consulting, Economic Consulting, or more. General Body members are given early notice to all BCC events, access to our network of peer mentors and alumni, a multitude of resources to help you prepare for consulting interviews, information regarding upcoming recruiting timelines, and much more.
BCC SOCIALS
Every semester, we host internal BCC socials to foster a fun, dynamic, and inclusive environment in our club. Much like a workplace, BCC works to ensure that our collaborative spirit extends beyond the classroom.
